Fytofotodermatitis is een acute foto-contactdermatitis
na
contact met planten in combinatie
met blootstelling aan UVA. Geeft karakteristieke vaak lineaire bulleuze lesies
gevolgd door langdurige hyperpigmentatie. Wordt vooral veroorzaakt door planten
die
furocoumarines bevatten zoals
groot akkerscherm (
Ammi majus),
berenklauw (
Heracleum sphondylium) of hogweed (
Heracleum mantegazzianum),
of het Rhus antigeen dat in o.a. poison ivy zit (
Rhus toxicodendron,
USA). Ook de wijnruit (
Ruta graveolens), de vuurwerkplant (
Dictamnus
albus), die ook behoort tot de
Rutaceae (wijnruitfamilie), en
de citroen (
Citrus) en de verwante limoen kan een phytofotodermatitis
veroorzaken, zie ook onder

Therapie:R/ Dermovate (clobetasolpropionaat 0.05%)
crème gedurende enkele dagen en blaar/wondverzorging.
