Cellulitis
Staphylococcus aureus

Bij niet-ernstige infectie:
R/ flucloxacilline 3-4 dd 500 mg gedurende 10-14 dagen, in geval van stafylokokken, hetgeen vaak voorkomt.
R/ claritromycine 2 dd 500 mg gedurende 10-14 dagen.
R/ clindamycine 3 dd 600 mg gedurende 10-14 dagen.

Bij ernstige infectie:
R/ flucloxacilline iv 4 dd 1000 mg gedurende 10 tot 14 dagen.
R/ clindamycine iv 3 dd 600 mg gedurende 10-14 dagen.

Onder 'cellulitis' wordt hier verstaan een infectie met S. aureus van de huid en weke delen, zowel in de diepte als oppervlakkig en minder scherp begrensd dan erysipelas.
