Background
Ethyl methacrylate is a methacrylic monomer used for its hardening and adhesive properties. It is widely used in various nail preparations. Kanerva et al tested 124 patients with the Chemotechnique methacrylate series. They found six patients allergic to ethyl methacrylate.
