Background
Clobetasol-17-propionate is a high-potency topical fluorinated corticosteroid with low systemic effects. It has been classified as group D by Coopman et al. According the A-D grouping, patch-test reactions occur 6-7 times more frequently within well-defined groups of structurally related chemicals than between corticosteroids of different groups.
